How to include EXERCISING in Everyday Life ? (and Stick to It)

Most people around us do have some unfavorable habits they want to get rid of. For example, 'Smoking cigarettes' which itself comes with the death warning printed on it and people who are used to it have a very good knowledge of its unhealthy aspects but ever wondered why is it difficult to dump these habits right away instantly?

Because people enjoy them. So we afford them in our life. Slowly it becomes a part of our daily life, we get addicted to it. Despite being good or bad for us, we feel it is important to enjoy what we do.

Again, 'Smoking is injurious to health' So we don't recommend it.☺  Now let's talk about another activity we understand a big deal to bring its picture into realization. Exercise. It never sounds like a piece of cake for anyone unless you start with the right attitude. To love doing any activity with consistent effort we must enjoy them with our whole heart irrespective of the energy we apply. Because at the end that's gonna make you happy and make you feel worth spending all the time and energy on yourself. When real happiness steps into your life, you stop looking for something temporary.

You understand you should exercise knowing there are many great reasons like bodybuilding, metabolism, good mood, healthsleep to reducing anxiety, unwanted fat, etc but how to keep up the dedication to the training routine when the daily life schedule is overloaded with a dozen other social and personal engagements?

Well, believe me, it just needs your one kind decision with the right mindset and a smart approach. Let's see how.

1. Know 'the right' yourself.

Now is the moment you shouldn't lie to yourself. If you are a victim of procrastination i.e. you're in a habit of delaying your exercise routine to some other time, you must realize if that time is really going to come or what? People often procrastinate when they're afraid of failing in the task which directly reflects their self-confidence. However, at least you have to try before you will know that you are going to fail. Believe me, you don't really want to go more unfit in your future than you are at present, the best you can do right this moment is to change your attitude to the right approach. Knowing and accepting our pros and cons help us move to the right mindset.

2. Choose your own convenient time.

It is better but never compulsory to push yourself out of your bed early in the morning for a workout when you don't like it. You can choose your own convenient time, be it morning, afternoon, or evening. Stop the habit of telling yourself that you are too busy for it. Even the busiest of us are able to find free time in our day for activities that are important to them. Some people find themselves more energetic in the evening while others like to do it after they had a good sleep.

3. Don't miss your pre-Workout Diet.

You might have tried working out for some time and start feeling tired to give up soon. This happens when you miss proper carbohydrate intake prior to your workout which fuels your body with the right nutrition prior to exercise which will give you the energy and strength you need to perform better. Also drink sufficient water and keep yourself hydrated during your on-going training.

4. Listen to good Music

Listening to energetic and fresh music is very helpful when you start to burn some calories. It keeps you enthusiastic and active during the entire session. It will be our recommendation to use a wireless headphone (as shown in fig.) which allows full freedom to move your body as per the need and you don't need to keep your cellphone in your pockets.

5. Light exercises at the beginning

In the beginning, pick out a few workouts you believe you can perform better and will be more comfortable with. Start with a small number of sets and repetitions. During the start, your body needs to get used to it so be careful with trying something new you haven't done before. After a week of progress, increase your training intensity gradually by adding more sets of exercises as per your capacity.  If you pick up a heavy workout schedule just at the start, your body will retaliate with your momentum the next day by developing temporary muscle strains preventing you from keeping yourself in action.

6. Track your progress

Progress is the biggest motivation you are going to get through your workout life. Nothing else can keep you more enthusiastic than getting in shape and feel great every day about yourself. Make a habit of tracking your progress every two weeks' duration. Take your selfies with date records, note down your body measurements, and monitor them at least twice a month. Getting a personality with a good physique brings you much more than just health. Sharing your progress with your friends and social media brings you more positive attention keeping you focused and learn more.

7. Plan-B Workout

Many days would come on your way when some unplanned activity is going to invest away your workout time and later you may skip it for the day. This activity can lead you to lose consistency and later repeating it again. However, something's better than nothing, so it is always better to have a 'Plan-B' Quick Session Workout plan for at least 15 minutes in any suitable time and place performing six different workouts each of 2 minutes of duration with a 1-minute break in between. That will keep you covered for the day and there will be much lesser chance to lose interest in your determination. Later on, you may increase your intensity.

8. Start using a Desk Calendar

Track your workout every day on a Desk or Wall calendar.  Avoid using cellphones or other gadget trackers. The primary motive is that it should always be visible to you, placed somewhere in your living room or study table. make a habit of updating it regularly and mark those days in red when you skipped exercise, yellow when you took quick sessions, and green for a good going.

9. Find yourself a partner.

Make your workout session more fun and effective by getting yourself a training partner who can also help keep you motivated and the mutual competition keeps you performing at your best. It also becomes a lot easier to try new workouts and effectively manage your workout routine and training time utilization.
